About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain study documents, source charts, binders, and laboratory kits
  • Schedule and confirm subject appointments and ancillary visits
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, Sponsor, and GCP guidelines
  • Assist in participant recruitment through prescreening and outreach
  • Provide subject care, explain procedures, and monitor diary compliance
  • Conduct study procedures including vital signs, ECGs, and questionnaires
  • Perform phlebotomy and process biological samples for shipping
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and temperature control systems
  • Enter and verify study data in EDC, CTMS, and other databases
  • Maintain regulatory documents and support clinical research coordinators

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, health-related college coursework, MA/phlebotomy program, or clinical trial experience with ICH GCP knowledge
  • Medical Assistant certification required
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new computer applications including EMR and CTMS
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Phlebotomy training and experience heavily preferred
  • Experience with medical terminology and laboratory procedures
