About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality healthcare services to residents, including assessing somatic conditions and monitoring vital signs
  • Administer medications (including IM and subcutaneous injections) within scope of practice
  • Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, blood draws, TB testing, ear lavage, and aseptic wound care
  • Conduct health education classes and teach clients regarding self-administration of medications and disease prevention
  • Assist with the setup of in-person and telehealth clinics
  • Maintain accurate written documentation of observations, medication delivery, and treatment progress
  • Manage medical supplies, including stocking, inventory, and ordering
  • Support the Behavioral Health Division through administrative and supervisory tasks to ensure cost-effective medical services

Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Washington State Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in behavioral health or rehabilitation settings
  • At least 6 months of experience working as a medical assistant in a residential setting
