Medical and Admissions Officer

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for administering first aid and manage the register of qualified first aiders.
• Oversee the administration of student medication and deliver specific medical-related needs for students.
• Administer student medical examinations, assessments, and inoculations.
• Maintain high standards of clinical procedures and ensure the confidentiality of all medical information.
• Manage first aid consumables and equipment stocks.
• Lead admissions processes, including acting as the main contact for Open Evenings, Transition, and Induction events.
• Coordinate with parents, students, and the Local Authority Admissions Team to ensure smooth enrolment.
• Manage student records, MIS system data entry, and admissions documentation.

Requirements

• A good level of education and strong organisational skills.
• A recognised First Aid Qualification.
• Proven experience working in a busy office environment.
• Experience working with both adults and pupils.
• Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
• High level of ICT competency, specifically with Microsoft Office.
