Medical Affairs Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific, medical, and clinical guidance aligned with the BD Peripheral Intervention portfolio to support commercial and marketing teams.
• Develop and implement medical education strategies and training programs for both internal staff and external healthcare professionals.
• Lead Key Opinion Leader (KOL) development programs and manage relationships with key medical influencers and societies.
• Provide clinical input to the Marketing department to ensure consistent and medically accurate communication.
• Approve promotional material content and ensure all communications are medically validated.
• Oversee the correct execution of clinical trials and investigator-sponsored studies in compliance with BD policies and local regulations.
• Act as a strategic medical liaison for the LATAM region, supporting Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD) is required.
• 5 to 10 years of clinical practice experience as an Interventional Radiologist or Vascular Surgeon.
• If not a practicing specialist, a minimum of 4 years of experience in Medical Affairs is required.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty in vascular surgery or interventional radiology.
• Previous experience working within the healthcare or MedTech industry.
• Proficiency in Portuguese or other additional languages.
