Medical Affairs Lead

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary Medical Affairs liaison for key opinion leaders, internal stakeholders, and external vendors
• Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of Medical Affairs-driven programs such as Medical Advisory Boards and Visiting Surgeon Programs
• Manage end-to-end program logistics including scheduling, venue sourcing, and vendor management
• Own the KOL engagement lifecycle including identification, segmentation, and onboarding
• Maintain and optimize CRM systems and engagement tracking tools
• Synthesize insights from KOL engagements to inform clinical and medical strategy
• Ensure all activities comply with federal and state laws and company SOPs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or related field
• 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs, life science event strategy, or KOL management
• Experience managing complex, surgeon-driven medical programs
• Ability to travel domestically up to 50% including weekends
• Proficiency with MS Office and Medical Affairs reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a life science field
• Experience supporting Medical Advisory Boards (MABs) and Visiting Surgeon Programs (VSPs) at a strategic level
• Experience with departmental planning or budget ownership
