Medical Advisor (Oncology)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute local Medical Affairs strategic plans for the Oncology therapy area to improve patient outcomes.
• Design, implement, and oversee real-world evidence (RWE) projects, ensuring scientific rigor and translating findings into actionable insights.
• Establish AstraZeneca as a scientific leader through proactive medical input and educational initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide medical expertise for brand and product strategies.
• Work closely with field medical teams to ensure alignment between field activities and the broader Medical Affairs Strategic Plan.
• Identify opportunities for clinical practice transformations to enhance patient access to quality care.

Requirements

• Scientific degree or Master's degree in a scientific discipline.
• Extensive experience within the Medical Affairs function in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of medical, clinical development, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to interact with both internal and external partners.
• Excellent project management, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Fluency in the Korean language is required to communicate effectively with local stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively within a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
