About the role
Responsibilities
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and key stakeholders within an assigned geography to deliver clinically focused messaging and drive brand share and revenue.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow market share across diverse care settings, including academic centers, large group practices, and IDNs.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clinicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, and internal cross-functional partners.
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics, and payer trends.
- Conduct market profiling activities to gain deep understanding of regional healthcare delivery, influencers, and local payer systems.
- Identify business opportunities and lead coordination efforts within the Rare Neurology account team to support contracting pull-through.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in Neurology sales.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with key thought leaders or high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations.
- Proven experience with specialty, biologic, or REMS products.
- Strong account management skills with a track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets.
- Deep understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and current marketplace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications.
- Previous experience with successful product launches.
