Medical Account Specialist II

Responsibilities

• Engage Rare Neurology experts and key stakeholders to deliver clinically focused messaging and drive brand share and revenue.
• Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies within the Rare Neurology therapeutic area to expand market share.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clinicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, and other healthcare providers.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Reimbursement and Access Specialists, to address customer needs and market dynamics.
• Conduct market profiling activities to understand regional healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
• Identify business opportunities and lead coordination efforts within the Rare Neurology account team to support contracting pull-through.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in Neurology sales.
• Proven experience with specialty, biologic, or REMS products.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with key thought leaders or high-influence customers.
• Experience working within large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations.
• Strong account management skills with a track record of success in complex markets and product launches.
