Medical Account Specialist II - Neurology

Responsibilities

• Engage Rare Neurology experts and key stakeholders within an assigned geography to deliver clinically focused messaging.
• Drive product revenue and grow brand market share through strategic account management and execution of territory plans.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clinicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, and other healthcare providers.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Reimbursement and Access Specialists, to address customer needs and market dynamics.
• Conduct market profiling activities to understand regional healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
• Identify business opportunities and lead coordination efforts within the Rare Neurology account team to support contracting pull-through.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in Neurology sales.
• Proven experience with specialty, biologic, or REMS products.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with key thought leaders or high-influence customers.
• Experience working within large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations.
• Demonstrated track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications.
• Experience with successful product launches.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
