Medicaid Claims Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a claims processing department to effectively and efficiently meet service level agreements
• Provide active leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the claims processing staff
• Interact with Department of Health and Human Services personnel regarding claims functions
• Drive special projects for corporate, operational, or client initiatives
• Ensure quality objectives are consistently achieved and update performance reports
• Conduct employee counseling sessions and administer annual performance reviews

Requirements

• Three years of experience working in a healthcare support organization
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including guiding and mentoring team members
• Strong understanding and application of medical claims processing concepts
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment and manage stress
• Strong client relationship skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred
