Media Replay Operator I

Responsibilities

• Operate broadcast equipment and technology, including the organization and distribution of server content for recording and playback.
• Utilize editing techniques on instant replay and non-linear systems.
• Measure audio and video signals to ensure quality control meets ESPN standards.
• Manage local media and adhere to established naming conventions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of plant signal flow and routing.
• Participate in special event coverage and departmental projects as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of practical TV Production or related experience at a large market or network level.
• Proficient knowledge of video production switchers, server-based recording/playback systems, and related control devices.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Flexibility to work overtime and alter shifts to accommodate production objectives.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform tasks under tight deadlines and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Studio Production, Journalism, or a related field.
• Demonstrable knowledge of broadcast communications equipment.
• Understanding of remote event workflows and terminology.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish).
• Vocational School Certification.
