About the role

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive media relations strategies aligned with organizational goals
Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and international media representatives
Act as the main liaison between the organization and the media
Coordinate press conferences, media briefings, and interviews
Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports and analysis
Manage crisis communications and respond to media inquiries promptly
Ensure message consistency across all media interactions
Identify proactive media opportunities to promote initiatives, campaigns, and leadership visibility
Publish media content with various media outlets
Collaborate with internal marketing, digital, policy, and leadership teams to align messaging

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
5–8 years of experience in media relations, public relations, or communications
Proven track record of securing media coverage and managing press relationships
Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities
Experience handling crisis communications and sensitive issues
Familiarity with media monitoring tools and analytics
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
