Media Planner

Responsibilities

• Support the media planning and buying process by translating client briefs into actionable communications plans.
• Develop strategic communications plans using industry tools to deliver on specific campaign goals.
• Collaborate with creative agencies to develop holistic brand management and marketing planning processes.
• Recommend optimal buy structures that reach target audiences while maximizing value and efficiency.
• Prepare reporting documentation for media planning teams and clients to demonstrate strategy and rationale.
• Coordinate with Traffic Launch and Campaign Delivery teams to ensure flawless implementation of media plans.
• Contribute to overall campaign strategy and identify ways to optimize performance.

Requirements

• Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Media, Advertising, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of media planning or buying experience across multiple channels including Video, Display, Social, Programmatic, Broadcast, Print, and OOH.
• Hands-on experience with media planning and research tools.
• Advanced MS Office skills, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables and work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
