About the role
Responsibilities
- Produce video, print, and electronic media for University Mission and Ministry events, including orientations, newsletters, and special Masses.
- Collaborate with the Graduate Assistant for Media to create engaging visual stories through photography, writing, and video.
- Provide creative brainstorming and feedback for social media content and print publications.
- Identify innovative trends to disseminate information to the UIW community.
- Create bilingual (English/Spanish) content to foster the university mission.
- Assist with the live-streaming of Masses and religious services.
Requirements
- Must be a current UIW student.
- Previous experience in writing, photography, design, or video production.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.).
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, etc.).
- Ability to lift and move at least 15 lbs of equipment and materials.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience participating in ministry as a volunteer or staff member.
- Experience with specific management systems and equipment such as Hootsuite, Swift Publisher, DSLR cameras, or Mac computers.
