Mechatronics Technician

Responsibilities

• Localize, diagnose, and eliminate faults in production plants
• Perform maintenance and repair work on electrical, control, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Execute calibrations and preventive maintenance tasks
• Ensure plant safety before performing repair or maintenance work
• Support the commissioning of new production plants
• Perform minor technical modifications to equipment
• Independently process work orders using the ERP system (SAP-PM)

Requirements

• Completed training as a Mechatronics Technician or a comparable vocational qualification
• Knowledge of PLC (SPS) and DCS (PLS) systems
• Fluent German language skills
• Strong sense of safety awareness and reliability
• Ability to work in shifts (day/late shift) and willingness to participate in on-call services on weekends or holidays
• Organized, solution-oriented, and team-driven mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience in the chemical industry or a related field
• Basic knowledge of English
