Mechatronics Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on industrial centrifuges and machinery at customer sites across Germany
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical malfunctions and respond to emergency service calls
• Execute commissioning of machines for new installations or system upgrades
• Advise customers on the product portfolio and identify suitable Alfa Laval solutions
• Document service activities and prepare reports for the internal service team
• Contribute to digital service initiatives, such as remote maintenance via mobile applications

Requirements

• Technical or electro-mechanical training (e.g., Mechatronics) with practical experience
• High level of independence, initiative, and strong communication skills
• Willingness to travel extensively (averaging 3 hotel stays per week)
• Proficiency in Office365 and modern IT applications
• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
• Customer-oriented mindset with a professional demeanor

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in machine commissioning
• Knowledge of control and regulation electronics
