About the role
Responsibilities
- Promote a safe working environment by following all established safety procedures.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo-eyes, and relays.
- Manage work orders within the CMMS, including documenting labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
- Track and store department inventory.
- Mentor junior technicians to support their professional growth.
- Maintain positive working relationships across the entire operations facility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls.
- 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- 1+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- 1+ years of knowledge regarding electrical and electronic principles.
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
- Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, use aerial lifts, and move between departments in a warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher from a vocational school or college with a focus on Mechanical or Electrical fields.
- Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) guidelines.
- Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
