Mechatronics Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own equipment improvement plans for maintenance strategies and equipment availability
• Define and refine reliability programs including preventive maintenance and BOM development
• Integrate equipment into IoT for real-time performance monitoring
• Design and integrate new sensors for predictive and condition-based monitoring
• Develop engineering solutions for repetitive failures through Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Conduct Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
• Coordinate cross-functionally to drive process improvements and equipment overhauls
• Implement maintenance and reliability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Support onboarding and commissioning of newly purchased or fabricated equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, reliability, or operations
• Ability to work in temperatures over 80 degrees
• Ability to work at heights up to 500ft and in confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance engineering or reliability in high-volume manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with equipment control systems, machinery, and industrial automation
• Understanding of mechanical, fluid, and electrical component functions
• Experience using Microsoft SQL and PowerBI
• Ability to read equipment schematics, P&ID, GD&T, and OEM manuals
• Familiarity with CNC, SMT, 3D printing, robotics, and chillers
• Experience with CMMS programs such as Maximo, SAP, or Infor
• Understanding of KPIs like OEE, MTBF, and MTTR
