Mechatronic Apprentice I

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using appropriate job plans and manuals
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment components
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, and motor starters
• Adhere to all safety regulations and policies while working with complex high-performance manufacturing systems
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 1+ years of PC software experience (including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Vocational/technical training, an associate degree, or 1+ years of Amazon RME experience
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items
• Mathematical knowledge and experience with measurement reading and interpretation
• Ability to lift up to 49lbs, stand/walk for up to 12 hours, and climb ladders safely
• Flexibility to work various schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Ability to enroll in and attend a 9-week training program
• Ability to meet the minimum qualifying score on a Mechanical Aptitude Test

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of military experience
• Experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
• Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing material handling equipment (MHE)
• Experience implementing safety standards
• Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics
