About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee mechanical and piping commissioning to establish pre-commissioning, start-up, and handover execution frameworks.
  • Manage and supervise the commissioning of utility, process, control, electrical, fire, gas, and safety systems.
  • Develop and implement commissioning execution strategies, schedules, and cost management.
  • Lead a team in developing O&M manuals, test procedures, and commissioning protocols.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering Managers, and Construction teams to provide subject-matter expertise.
  • Establish system boundaries, scopes of work, and turnover plans.
  • Monitor critical paths, assess progress, and provide solutions to mitigate schedule delays.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA, ANSI, and company safety requirements.
  • Supervise commissioning database maintenance and track engineering documents for turnover packages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline or 10-15 years of equivalent work experience.
  • 15+ years of CSU (Commissioning, Start-Up) experience.
  • Previous experience in a Senior CSU Leadership Role.
  • Strong knowledge of process technology related to O&G, LNG, NGL, Gas Dehydration, SRU, and GTL plants.
  • Knowledge of PLC and PC-based control systems.
  • Ability to travel extensively to project sites.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical information and engineering drawings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working on international Oil & Gas projects.
