Mechanical/Electrical Inspector - Data Center

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of mechanical and electrical installations, including HVAC systems, chilled water piping, generator systems, switchgear, UPS, and cabling
• Ensure all works are executed in accordance with design drawings, technical specifications, and applicable codes
• Monitor contractor activities and verify the quality of workmanship
• Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Witness and verify testing and commissioning activities, such as FAT/SAT, pre-functional, and functional testing
• Maintain detailed inspection records, reports, and documentation
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project QA/QC procedures
• Support handover documentation and final acceptance processes

Requirements

• 5–10 years of inspection experience, preferably in data center, mission-critical, or advanced manufacturing projects
• Strong understanding of international standards including ASHRAE, IEEE, NEC, and IEC
• Proven experience in QA/QC inspection processes and documentation
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
