About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for diesel heavy-duty units.
  • Ensure correct repairs and optimal functioning of engines, electrical systems, brakes, and other critical components.
  • Assign tasks to personnel, monitor performance, and promote a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Guarantee compliance with quality and safety standards for all completed works.
  • Perform timely diagnostics to identify and correct mechanical failures efficiently.
  • Follow up on services with clients and manage customer relationships.
  • Supervise inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials, and request necessary supplies and replacements.

Requirements

  • Completed Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance for Rabón, Torton, and Tracto trucks (e.g., ProStar International, Freightliner, Kenworth).
  • Proficiency with workshop tools and machinery.
  • Strong personnel management and leadership skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts (morning and afternoon).
  • Valid driver's license.
