Responsibilities
- Write technical specifications for tooling lots
- Consult with suppliers
- Monitor the production (execution studies and manufacturing) of tooling and associated equipment
- Perform technical reviews of supplier documents including assembly plans, functional and geometric analysis, calculation notes, welding books, test programs, and maintenance plans
- Monitor the preparation and execution of tooling test phases
- Prepare and lead internal and supplier technical meetings
- Produce various reports
Requirements
- Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in mechanical tooling within an industrial environment (preferably nuclear)
- Knowledge of mechanical design in a nuclear environment
- Knowledge of pressure equipment
- Knowledge of mechanical pre-dimensioning of structures
- Knowledge of manufacturing for machined and welded mechanical parts
- Understanding of nuclear safety culture and standards
- Knowledge of the fuel cycle
