Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Strictly comply with plant safety regulations and national laws to ensure safe mechanical maintenance.
• Perform hands-on repair and maintenance of rotating equipment, including centrifugal pumps, blowers, and vacuum pumps.
• Manage SAP work orders and execute workshop maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Assist in establishing preventive maintenance systems and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to reduce equipment downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections of workshop equipment and maintain 5S workplace organization standards.
• Manage spare parts inventory, including analyzing consumption and initiating purchase requests.
• Perform alignment of rotating equipment and interpret vibration reports.
• Participate in night-time on-call maintenance duties as required.

Requirements

• 3-year full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• More than 5 years of work experience within chemical enterprises.
• Proven hands-on experience in the repair and maintenance of various rotating equipment.
• Ability to perform equipment alignment and understand vibration reports.
• Proficiency in office software and general computer operations.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work independently on the shop floor and participate in on-call rotations.
