Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform field service maintenance and technical tasks at designated customer sites
• Execute maintenance activities on Power Stations and Rotating Plant operations
• Follow high-level instructions from Supervisors and Site Managers to ensure work meets established guidelines
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving technical issues or defects
• Complete inspection record sheets and documentation with high attention to detail
• Support company safety and quality initiatives, including Zero Harm and Right First Time

Requirements

• Time-served electrical or mechanical apprenticeship (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years of mechanical fitting experience, preferably in Power Stations or site works
• Strong technical knowledge of Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, and Generator technology
• Familiarity with turbine auxiliary systems
• Good computer literacy and organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite across the UK, Ireland, and potentially overseas

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical understanding of turbine systems
• Experience working in large-scale industrial field service environments
