Mechanical Technician - Rotating Machinery (Nuclear)

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance, repair, and optimization of precision rotating machinery including motors, gearboxes, pumps, and turbines
• Prepare interventions by verifying spare parts, tools, and logistical requirements
• Participate in pre-intervention meetings to analyze technical steps, risks, and safety requirements
• Execute disassembly, marking, cleaning, part replacement, and reassembly
• Use metrology tools to control the conformity of parts and completed work
• Complete technical documentation including intervention reports, dimension readings, and work authorizations
• Assist in the testing and commissioning of mechanical installations

Requirements

• Background in industrial, agricultural, or production environments
• Technical diploma in mechanics, industrial maintenance, or a related engineering field (e.g., STI2D, MSMA, GIM, or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a dynamic team
• Willingness to work in "Grands Déplacements" (frequent travel) and occasional shift work

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience or certifications specifically within the nuclear sector (Nuclear Authorizations/Habilitations)
