Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Build mechanical structures and related components
• Integrate mechanical hardware
• Uphold shop cleanliness and organization
• Utilize proper PPE
• Work within a high-caliber cross-functional team

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Familiarity with hand, power, pneumatic, and inspection tools
• Experience in mechanical assembly, technical repair, or mechanical maintenance in a regulated environment
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts (8+ hours)
• Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights or in tight spaces
• Ability to perform repetitive motions (bending, twisting, reaching, grasping)
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbs
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and varied shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) certification
• 2+ years of experience in the new space or aerospace industry
