Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all mechanical systems within the facility.
• Manage HVAC systems, including air handling units, fans, exhaust systems, boilers, chillers, and cooling groups.
• Maintain compressed air systems, compressors, pumps, and circulation systems.
• Oversee plumbing and water systems, including clean water, wastewater, and drainage.
• Ensure fire suppression and sprinkler systems remain in optimal operational condition.
• Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical failures and implement necessary repairs.
• Coordinate mechanical works performed by subcontractors, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
• Monitor mechanical equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Maintain strict adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) protocols, including LOTO and working at heights.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, HVAC, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation and equipment manuals.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, measurement devices, and maintenance equipment.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs.
• Experience operating scissor lifts, articulated platforms, and pallet jacks.
• Ability to work in shifts.
• Physical ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with maintenance management systems.
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and a safety-first mindset.
