Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment including diagnosis, disassembly, repair, and reassembly
• Execute preventive maintenance plans involving controls, adjustments, lubrication, and part replacements
• Assemble and disassemble mechanical units and perform alignments for pulleys, chains, gears, and bearings
• Participate in commissioning and installation improvements alongside production and automation teams
• Write intervention reports and update technical documentation in the CMMS (GMAO)
• Propose improvement actions to increase equipment reliability and reduce downtime
• Adhere to site hygiene, safety, and environmental regulations
• Participate in on-call shifts as required

Requirements

• Technical training (CAP, BEP, BAC Pro, or BTS) in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or electromechanics
• Experience in a similar industrial role preferred
• Proficiency in general mechanics, basic machining, blueprint reading, fitting, and tolerances
• Ability to diagnose issues and propose durable solutions
• Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and teamwork abilities
• Driver's license preferred
• Knowledge of CMMS (GMAO) tools
