Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform breakdown and preventive maintenance on bottling, packaging, and blow moulding machines
• Maintain various types of conveyors, pumps, agitators, and compressors
• Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic circuits and components
• Execute mechanical tasks including alignment, lubrication, and PHE dismantling/assembly
• Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals in English to identify spare parts
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures, PPE usage, and work permit systems
• Manage work orders and material requisitions through ERP systems like Oracle eAM or SAP

Requirements

• ITI Mechanical with 10 years of experience OR Diploma in Mechanical with 6 years of experience
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals
• Strong knowledge of mechanical alignment and lubrication procedures
• Ability to work independently and manage maintenance tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with KHS, Krones, or Sidel machines
• Experience with ASB Nissei, Bekum, or Fonkee machines
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (Oracle eAM or SAP) for maintenance management
