Mechanical Technician - Hydraulics and Pneumatics

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mobile machinery and industrial equipment
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Execute technical inspections, failure analysis, and root cause identification
• Perform assembly and disassembly of mechanical components
• Interpret technical drawings, hydraulic diagrams, and pneumatic schematics
• Support continuous improvement of equipment and maintenance processes
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards

Requirements

• Completed Technical degree in Mechanics or related fields
• Active CFT registration
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Experience in heavy industrial maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large-scale equipment
• Previous experience in steelmaking or mining environments
