Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision
• Assist operators in routine maintenance procedures and training on minor troubleshooting and repairs
• Conduct general repairs and maintenance to facility and grounds
• Perform operating tasks and adjustments in the Wastewater Treatment plant
• Maintain records and logs as required
• Maintain food safety and quality through sanitary work practices

Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma
• 5-7 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Technician in a manufacturing environment
• Must possess an electrician license or have the ability to obtain it within 6 months
• Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting experience
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs frequently and push/pull up to 75 lbs
