Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring quality and compliance with safety and product specifications
• Prioritize and act with urgency to restore and operate equipment during breakdowns
• Participate in scheduled maintenance shutdowns
• Perform cleaning, inspections, and lubrication to detect deviations
• Implement 5S standards, detect defects or breakdowns, and perform necessary repairs
• Support operational areas and participate in analysis to reduce downtime

Requirements

• Technical degree in mechanics, electromechanics, mechatronics, or a related field
• Availability to work 24/7 shift rotations, including holidays
• Proficiency with measuring instruments and ability to interpret blueprints and diagrams
• Skills in arc and oxyacetylene welding
• Knowledge of bearing mounting and disassembly, adjustments, and tolerances
• Experience with bench mechanics and fine equipment adjustments
