Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble, cut, thread, and lay pipes
• Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repairs on motors, fans, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and rotating equipment
• Utilize hand and power tools, drill presses, saws, and welding machines
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and lubrication schedules
• Perform and document equipment inspections
• Analyze equipment performance to optimize throughput and quality
• Identify corrective actions to improve equipment reliability
• Perform rigging and operate mobile equipment
• Adhere to all plant environmental, health, and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Ability to work safely following OSHA and company standards
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders
• Experience in preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance
• Knowledge of hydraulics, lubrication, and mechanical equipment
• Ability to repair pumps, conveyors, valves, cylinders, and bearings
• Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Skilled in Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Must provide own basic tools
