Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment with a focus on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment and accurately document all activities
• Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to log activities, enter work notifications, and locate parts
• Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs on electrical circuitry at 230v and under
• Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and cGMP policies and standards
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve production quality
• Provide accurate reporting and effective shift turnover to maintenance leads

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Maintenance, Industrial, or Production Mechanic
• Proficiency in shop mathematics and the ability to read complicated drawings, specifications, charts, and tables
• Experience using adjustable measuring instruments and basic electrical hand tools
• Ability to operate computer-controlled equipment
• Ability to work overtime, flexible hours, and weekends as needed to meet business goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical School training
• Four years of relevant industrial or military experience
