Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and complex diagnostics and repairs on agricultural, construction, and diesel equipment
• Maintain and repair corn headers, combine headers, and various other agricultural implements
• Conduct maintenance on company fleet vehicles and lifting equipment
• Complete service paperwork, including inspection reports and work orders, using computers or tablets
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment and follow all company safety policies
• Travel to customer sites for service calls as required
• Collaborate with technicians, parts, and sales personnel to support team goals

Requirements

• Proven knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to lift 75 pounds without assistance
• Possession of a personal mechanic toolset appropriate for the work
• Valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record
• Ability to travel for training events and service calls
• Availability to work extended hours, including weekends, based on agricultural seasonality
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills
