Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment to meet quality and output standards
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues through mechanical repairs and part replacement
• Perform preventative maintenance and support repair activities during scheduled downtime
• Monitor product quality to ensure adherence to specifications and GMP requirements
• Maintain accurate production documentation including SAP/MES, scrap, and output data
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to support equipment modifications and testing

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or 2 years of industrial/manufacturing related experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Ability to stand, lift, and work physically with production equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automated or high-speed manufacturing equipment
• Exposure to PLC-controlled systems
• Knowledge of GMP or regulated manufacturing environments
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
