Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Install and verify equipment for vehicle and component tests including brake abort systems and camera stands
• Operate diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Support test teams in the setup and execution of tests
• Maintain safe working practices and a clean, organized environment
• Identify and implement new tools or processes to improve quality and efficiency
• Maintain work area documentation including note logs, check sheets, and part inventory

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a shop or mechanical environment
• High School Diploma; technical degree or trade experience preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor environments
• Valid California driver’s license
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours and weekends
