Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, HVAC, pneumatic, and diesel systems
• Troubleshoot and calibrate various fixed or mobile systems and heavy equipment
• Operate equipment used to receive, store, treat, and transfer liquids, gases, and solid commodities
• Ensure all work is completed safely in accordance with NASA and company safety standards
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports using computers and printers

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with technical training in an applicable area
• Three years of related experience in mechanical or electromechanical systems
• Proven ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, water, HVAC, pneumatic, or diesel systems
• Valid US Driver's License
• Ability to work at heights exceeding 300 feet using ladders, towers, and stairs
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, squatting, crawling, and walking on uneven terrain

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment maintenance
