Mechanical Technician A

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, inspections, and diagnostics on Kenworth and Freightliner transport units
• Conduct inspections of transport units upon arrival to ensure operational safety
• Scan and record performance data, including mileage and fuel efficiency
• Execute minor repairs on forklift equipment
• Diagnose, repair, and adjust mechanical, powertrain, electrical, and pneumatic systems in diesel units and articulated equipment
• Operate machinery, hand tools, electronic tools, and measurement instruments
• Interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints for equipment and unit diagnostics
• Execute and follow up on various maintenance area projects
• Maintain order and cleanliness within the workspace

Requirements

• Technical high school, Engineering, or TSU degree completed
• 2 to 3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
• Specific knowledge of Kenworth and Freightliner units
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic Office skills
• Availability to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, and night) with rotating days off
