Mechanical Technical Advisor

Responsibilities

• Support specialist technicians during fault diagnosis
• Act as a real-time coach to improve technical personnel performance
• Perform rigorous monitoring of issues occurring on rolling stock in service
• Propose solutions to improve the performance and reliability of railway equipment (locomotives and cars)
• Represent the company to the client's technical department
• Conduct in-depth analysis of delays and their root causes, implementing corrective measures
• Perform remote diagnostics via monitoring software
• Perform any tasks related to reliability and performance services

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in the railway sector
• Knowledge of railway equipment maintenance procedures
• Deep knowledge of mechanical techniques and basic electrical knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and pneumatic systems
• Proficiency in French and English (written and oral)
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Team player, customer-oriented, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure
