Mechanical Systems Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver compressor system integration activities across multiple parallel workstreams
• Support product system design integration working with cross-functional teams
• Conduct and lead OSOR investigations and root cause analysis (RCI)
• Provide complex technical validation and verification support
• Support SAR (Safety Assessment Report) activities including fleet health and risk tracking
• Manage sampling closure and DoRA updates
• Produce clear reporting and updates for Technical Leads

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience
• Experience with Teamcenter and Siemens NX
• Proven experience in systems integration or systems engineering within aerospace or turbomachinery
• Strong understanding of compressor systems, casings, structures, and stress/vibration
• Experience with validation & verification (V&V) and APQP
• Knowledge of safety processes such as FMECA, SARs, and DFMEA
• Familiarity with LCE tools like OSORs and FRACAS

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Basic understanding of engine certification processes and compliance
