Mechanical Systems Engineer - Associate

Responsibilities

• Support the development and documentation of mechanical, fluid, and thermal environment systems for the 787 Program
• Develop, maintain, or modify system designs and proposals to provide high-level requirements to downstream users
• Perform detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations
• Execute spatial integration at the system or component level and modify mechanisms, landing gear, or ordinance systems
• Assist in preparing technical documents for mechanical components and systems
• Support proposal preparation and new business development efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences)
• 2 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 or more years of experience working with airplane systems
