Mechanical Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical mechanical referent to ensure equipment reliability and performance
• Analyze production failures and mechanical breakdowns to identify root causes
• Support technicians in diagnosing complex incidents and implementing durable corrective actions
• Develop technical skills within maintenance teams by creating operating procedures and best practices
• Lead technical meetings and working groups to facilitate knowledge sharing
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and industrial retrofit projects
• Coordinate external service providers while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and cost standards
• Promote and uphold Michelin's safety culture and risk management procedures

Requirements

• Bac+2 to Bac+3 degree in maintenance or industrial mechanics
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an industrial mechanic
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in automated process industries
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics
• Proficiency in reading and modifying technical plans
