Mechanical Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise all assigned construction activities during construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup phases
• Coordinate site activities with various project contractors to ensure compliance with the quality control plan
• Monitor construction progress and manage deviations from technical specifications through periodic inspections and field/laboratory testing
• Support construction activities to ensure the resolution of deficiencies or "punch lists" agreed upon between the Client and contractors
• Verify compliance with project Technical Specifications and engineering plans

Requirements

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer, Electromechanical Engineer, or related career with proven experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising medium and large-scale works for equipment mounting in crushing buildings, structure mounting for material handling belts, equipment preservation, VT PT Level II welding inspection, and paint inspection
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Mining Sector
• Experience developing and reviewing quality control procedures, quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITP), and reports
• Experience in quality management systems, non-conformities, change management, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• Knowledge of AWS, ANSI, API, ASTM standards
• Experience supervising and controlling construction processes, materials, and mechanical construction activities
• Must reside in Arequipa
