Mechanical Supervisor PV

Responsibilities

• Oversee all mechanical construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety regulations.
• Approve mechanical works procedures, including resource planning, quality control plans, and inspection point programs.
• Supervise the installation of trackers, modules, support structures, and mounting systems.
• Monitor daily progress and validate construction methods and material requirements.
• Perform quality inspections, including torque verification and alignment, and approve or reject results based on technical standards.
• Report delay risks, safety hazards, or quality deviations to project management immediately.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and manage subcontractor non-compliance.
• Support mechanical activities during the commissioning phases of the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in renewable energy projects, preferably utility-scale PV.
• Proven experience in PV plant mechanical supervision, specifically with tracker and module installation.
• Strong ability to interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Deep understanding of installation tolerances, alignment procedures, and torque specifications.
• Full availability for on-site work in Dallas, Texas.
