Mechanical Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Organize a team of technicians across various craft specialties
• Instruct and provide guidance to skilled personnel
• Perform diagnosis and repairs on motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and rotating equipment
• Assemble, cut, thread, and lay pipes
• Manage work orders, employee time, and procurement of parts and services
• Ensure adherence to safety practices and relevant Federal, State, and Local codes
• Maintain shops, equipment, and tools in secure and working condition

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Four or more years of progressive experience in skilled trades
• Experience with motors, gearboxes, conveyors, fans, and pumps
• Ability to interpret sketches, blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
• Ability to work in outdoor environments with extreme temperatures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for up to 12 hours
