About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all mechanical activities on assigned water/wastewater projects
- Supervise and mentor mechanical crews to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Ensure all mechanical work meets project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, adhering to all company policies and procedures
- Monitor and control project costs, including resource efficiency and monthly job cost updates
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues or challenges throughout the project lifecycle
- Maintain positive client relationships through regular project updates and concern resolution
- Prepare accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and change orders
- Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements
- Manage contract administration for subcontractors and field management
Requirements
- 5+ years of construction experience
- 3+ years of experience in a Superintendent or leadership capacity
- Advanced knowledge of construction disciplines, union agreements, and jurisdictional issues
- Expertise in safety regulations, scheduling, and cost control
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to access all areas of a construction project site

- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
