Mechanical Structural Calculation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create complete finite element models
• Perform 2D/3D meshing of structures using tools like HyperMesh
• Ensure mesh quality through criteria, refinement, and convergence
• Implement linear and non-linear mechanical calculations (contacts, large deformations, advanced material behavior)
• Conduct static, dynamic, vibration, and fatigue analyses
• Interpret simulation results and propose design optimizations
• Write calculation notes and justification dossiers
• Participate in internal and partner technical reviews

Requirements

• Engineering degree or university equivalent specializing in mechanics
• Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical structural analysis
• Proficiency in FEM tools (Abaqus, Nastran, Ansys, etc.)
• Experience in pre-processing and meshing, ideally with HyperMesh
• Solid knowledge of strength of materials, structural mechanics, and non-linear calculation
• Technical English proficiency
