Mechanical Specialist Plumber CL3

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled plumbing operations including inspecting, installing, and troubleshooting water and waste lines
• Install, repair, and test specialized equipment such as valves, sump pumps, water circulators, and backflow preventors
• Install and repair piping for gas, air, vacuum, and sprinkler systems, including underground sewage piping
• Respond to service calls and administer repairs using appropriate tools and materials
• Coordinate repair and maintenance schedules with various University departments and skilled trade teams
• Read and interpret blueprints and piping diagrams to guide installation and repair work
• Requisition supplies from vendors and maintain detailed operational records and logs

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• State of Maine licensed Master Plumber
• At least three (3) years of related plumbing experience
• Valid Driver's License
